Yes. We. Can.

Will.i.am produced this piece based on Obama's New Hampshire speech. Kudos to the celebs that got behind him - Common, Kate Walsh, John Legend, Herbie Hancock, Aisha Tyler, The dude from Lost - Harold Perrineau, Ashley from Fresh Prince of Bel Air - Tatyana Ali, Scarlett Johansson,k Nicole S...... from the Pussy Cat Dolls, Hill Harper and many others. Tres inspirational. I have pitched my tent.

Got to see the video on Youtube. Made me cry. I have not been as inspired by any leader as Mr. Obama promises. He embodies a hope that we can rise to higher and better things. All the other politicos pale in comparison.

It would be heartbreaking and a crying shame if he does not become President in November. We will play our part in Illinois (easy win). I hope you get the Georgia folks out to vote, raise money etc.

It is amazing how inspiring Obama is to so many different people. His speech inspired an excellent essay from Nigerian Politricks, that practically made ne jump out of my chair. Now, if only they will aloow for such new blood and inspiration from other young leaders in Nigeria and around the world. How exciting would that be? Oh well. First time here.

Take care!

@ Naapali - It gave me the chills. That speech ranks high when it comes to inspirational messages. I am in awe of this man. However, I am worried that he is not hitting back hard enough. Seems that all his soundbytes are full of insiprational messages and not actual plans. That worries me because Hillary's soundbytes are full of how her plans are better than his.

@ Solomonsydelle - I appreciate you stopping by. It would be wonderful if such young leaders were given a chance. For a minute there it looked that we were on the cusp of something special with people like Donald Duke and Jimi Agbaje on the scene. However, their hopes (and ours too) were quickly and swiftly dashed.

Remember how Al Gore was supposed to be the policy wonk and Bush wasn't. The reality is the public does not understand nor care about policy details. Obama and Clinton have similar policies for most things. The difference is in their character and that is where he excels.
